High Plains Food Co-op: provides an online and catalog of available local food products that includes information about how and where the product was grown or processed. We take orders and notify the appropriate producers, arrange for the food to be delivered, receive and process their payments.

Rolling Prairie Farmers Alliance: Over 300 households in Lawrence and Kansas City receive a weekly bag of locally grown produce during the growing season. Rolling Prairie is the oldest Midwest vegetable cooperative.

Janzen Family Farms is a diversified livestock and grain operation near Newton, Kansas that utilizes sustainable practices, including organic crop production.

​    Buy Local Kansas: a Kansas Rural Center initiative designed to increase the sale of specialty crops and locally grown foods in Kansas.

    Kansas River Valley Foods: a joint K-State and Kansas Rural Center initiative designed to connect local farmers and ranchers with institutions, school systems, restaurants and buying clubs that are looking to purchase larger quantities of local foods in the Kansas River Valley area.

Our Local Food is a program of the Kansas Rural Center, a non-profit organization that promotes the long-term health of the land and its people through research, education, and advocacy. The KRC cultivates grassroots support for public policies that encourage family farming and stewardship of soil and water. The KRC is committed to economically viable, environmentally sound, and socially sustainable rural culture.

    Simply Kansas: If you’re a consumer looking for the perfect Kansas agricultural product or experience to enjoy or share with your family and friends, look for the Simply Kansas logo. You'll find Simply Kansas products in gourmet stores, farmers' markets, grocery stores, gift shops, retail outlets where Kansas products are available and agritourism operations. When you see the logo, it’s a guarantee that more than 75 percent of that item’s ingredients or production are from Kansas.
